The indicator assesses the share of unobstructed footpath stretches in the total length of footpath in the municipal ward. An unobstructed footpath stretch is a stretch that is free of any existing encroachment, trees, electricity/telephone/internet poles, dumping of garbage, etc.
The indicator assess the availability of healthcare facilities for young children and their caregivers in the municipal ward. These facilities include primary healthcare centres (PHCs), dispensaries, private clinics, government hospitals and private hospitals.
The indicator assesses the availability of Child Welfare Committees that are functional by counting their number in the city.
The share of pedestrian fatalities caused due to traffic accidents in the total number of fatalities caused due to traffic accidents in the municipal ward in last 5 years.
The prevalence of child abuse and missing child by counting the number of such instances of crime reported in the municipal ward in last one year.
